About

Hi, I’m Mikala! I’m currently a junior at Washington State University where I’m studying Strategic Communications with a passion for creating clear and engaging messaging in all forms of the media! I’m currently at work in sharpening my skills in writing, content creation, and strategic planning.

I started Society’s Frame as a positive space for film lovers of all genres! I typically go to the theater about seven to eight times a month, so you can expect a steady stream of reviews on the newest, as well as films that might have slipped under your radar. Whether you’re diving into your favorite classics, exploring the new releases, or just curious about whether a movie is worth watching, this page could be for you. My goal is to provide thoughtful reviews, ratings, and insights that will make the cinema experience even more enjoyable.

For me, film is more than just entertainment, it’s a reflection of society, culture, and the stories that shape us. I think it’s important to watch all genres of film, even if may not be your particular cup of tea because it allows our brains to see many different perspectives and experiences people go through in their lives. Through this blog, I hope to spark conversations, share different opinions, and give you, the readers a lens into how movies connect to the world around us.

Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope you find a review that helps frame your next movie night! 🎬
